Looking after it
Rinse it through after use and hang it on the hook. The single thing that shortens a loofah's life more than anything else is being left wet in the bottom of the shower — it is why we put a hook in the box rather than treating it as an accessory.
Like any bath sponge, this is a consumable. It wears out and should be replaced periodically rather than kept indefinitely.
